Suspension cells are essential in immunology and hematology, yet conventional centrifugation and manual washing can cause variability and cell loss. The C.WASH was evaluated for washing suspension cells in 96-well microtiter plates for phenotypic characterization by flow cytometry. Using centrifugal forces and contact-free dispensing, the system gently removed medium while retaining pelleted cells.
Compared to manual protocols across live, fixed, and permeabilized samples, the C.WASH delivered efficient, reproducible, and automated washing, reducing hands-on time and pipetting costs.
