RNA interference has become an important method for transient post-transcriptional downregulation of targeted genes. In this study, the CELLCYTE X live-cell imaging system was used to kinetically quantify enhanced green fluorescent protein (EGFP) expression over 7 days and to optimize siRNA-mediated gene knockdown in PANC-1 cells with minimal user intervention.
Our findings demonstrate that the CELLCYTE X is a versatile platform for dynamic, long-term monitoring of reporter gene expression and the assessment of robust transfection conditions.
